Visually, the UMIDIGI Power 5 looks very similar to the Redmi Note 10 series smartphones. You can't help but remember the characteristic silver frame around the rear camera. The hero of today's lines boasts a triple rear camera, alongside which is located an infrared sensor. This is one of the features of UMIDIGI's new model. With it, you can measure your body temperature and monitor your physical health.

On the back we find another feature - the inscription Beyond Dreams. The rounded shapes of the case add to the high score while looking at the model. You will notice that the fingerprint scanner is not on the back, but is side-mounted.

On the front, the UMIDIGI Power 5's budget-friendliness stands out. The selfie camera is positioned in a teardrop-shaped notch at the top of the screen. The latter is surrounded by frankly thick bezels. For many, however, they will be a practical advantage. They allow you to avoid inadvertently touching the screen and leaving marks on it inadvertently.

UMIDIGI Power 5 can be met on the market in 3 colors - gray, green and blue. All three are equally stylish and pleasing to look at.

The smartphone is equipped with a large display - it has a diagonal of 6.35 inches and is HD+ resolution. The aspect ratio is standard - 20:9. The pixel density suggests good picture quality compared to some budget competitors in the market.

For added protection, the manufacturer has provided a coating that prevents scratches. There is no mention of protection against moisture or dust. So be careful when using the UMIDIGI Power 5. You can equip it with a case for longer lasting use.

UMIDIGI Power 5 has an entry-level processor - Helio G25. It is available in one version - with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The latter you can increase, as the manufacturer has provided a memory card slot. For better gaming performance, the smartphone is equipped with HyperEngine technology. For graphics, the IMG PowerVR GE8320 is responsible.

Factory wise, the device runs on Android 11 operating system. It supports working with 2 SIM cards.

As mentioned earlier, UMIDIGI Power 5 features a triple camera on the rear panel. The main sensor is a 16-megapixel one and is complemented by an 8-megapixel sensor which is an ultra-wide-angle one. A 5-megapixel camera is responsible for macro shots.

On the front panel, you get an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The photo capabilities of the UMIDIGI Power 5 are not the most advanced in 2021. However, they are decent for this price range. Among their features we find 4x and 8x zoom, night shooting mode, wide-angle camera with 120-degree viewing angle and more.

With the UMIDIGI Power 5 in hand, you'll be able to record videos at 1080 pixels resolution at 30 frames per second.

Autonomous operation

Fans of the brand know that the UMIDIGI Power series of smartphones is characterized by powerful batteries. UMIDIGI Power 5 is no exception. It is equipped with a 6150 mAh battery. The Chinese company promises quite a long autonomous work. You can expect 16 hours of continuous gaming, up to 29 hours of video playback or 566 hours in standby mode.

The smartphone supports 10W charging technology. This means you'll slowly restore the charge. Top-down you will need about 3 hours and even more. The most practical time to do this is at night - while you're indulging in blissful rest. After that, however, you'll have plenty of time in which UMIDIGI Power 5 will be your complete assistant.

This model of the Chinese company can be used as an external battery to charge other important devices for you.

For its price, the UMIDIGI Power 5 doesn't look bad at all. The smartphone have its features, among which quite a few pros. For example, a large and beautiful screen, a digital infrared thermometer, support for work with 2 SIM cards and a separate memory card slot. Moreover, it comes factory with Android 11 operating system. The icing on the cake is the battery, which has a capacity of 6150 mAh.
