Design

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has the usual look and feel of mid-range models. Both the panels of the smartphone are made of tough Gorilla Glass 5. Minor scratches and injuries do not threaten this model. Its surface is coated with a special water-repellent layer. Water drops simply run off without leaving traces.

There can be no criticism of the ergonomics of the Redmi Note 8T. All buttons are located in the usual places. The device lies securely in the user's palm. It will not slip out of his hand. The weight is within the norm - almost 200 grams. It should be reported that the Redmi Note 8T has a large screen and a powerful battery.

We should also mention the presence of slots for 2 SIM cards and microSD. USB Type-C port is used here.

Display

The 6.3-inch display of the Redmi Note 8T has received a solid resolution. It delivers a smooth and expressive picture at satisfyingly wide viewing angles. The screen occupies most of the front panel. This makes the Redmi Note 8T an excellent choice for watching movies and series. Thanks to the solid brightness reserve, you can enjoy using the device even on a bright sunny day.

A standard set of configurations is provided in the display settings. There is also a reading mode.

Performance

In the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, the manufacturer has opted for an 8-core processor with 3 or 4 GB of RAM depending on the version. Heavy applications run fast. Modern games at medium graphics settings will run fine.

One of the nice things about the Redmi Note 8T is the presence of the already mentioned NFC chip. For now, it is rare in budget models.

Cameras

The four cameras in this model offer the user solid options in the world of mobile photography. The main role is given to a 48-megapixel module with digital stabilization and automatic scene recognition. Thanks to the latter, you will create beautiful photos both during the day and at night. To fit more objects in the frame, you should turn on the 120-degree angle-of-view mode. The depth-of-frame sensor is designed for creating expressive portraits.

Activate the macro mode to capture exciting macro shots.

Autonomous operation

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has received a powerful battery. Its capacity is 4000 mAh. With balanced usage, it is capable of providing you up to 2 days of operation. The presence of fast charging technology ensures replenishment of the charge up to 100% in two hours.

Conclusion

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has everything it takes to be among the leaders in this price category. The manufacturer has skillfully balanced between price and quality. As a result, a device with the merits to be your inseparable companion in everyday tasks has been obtained. In turn, this model also wins you over with its autonomous operation. The NFC chip is another boosting factor.
