Intro

Infinix is a smartphone manufacturer that occasionally offers exceptionally good models. In that vein, it's time to take a look at the Infinix Hot 10 Lite, the lightweight version of the Infinix Hot 10, coming to market in the fall of 2020. This "budget beast", as many call it, has a huge battery and a 6.6-inch display, and its price is attractively low.

Design

Like most of the company's smartphones, the Infinix Hot 10 Lite has a sleek layout. It looks modern and quality made. The device comes with a body in several colors, with green being particularly attractive. It is also available in blue, black and red. Whichever you choose, it will complement your style.

At first glance, the Infinix Hot 10 Lite doesn't look thin, but it is. Its case is just 8.8mm thick. Its dimensions allow you to hold it in your palm comfortably. The back panel is pleasant to the touch. On it you will find the fingerprint scanner. You can protect it from fingerprints with a suitable case.

The low weight of the device allows you to carry it in your jeans pocket without any problem.

Display

The Infinix Hot 10 Lite features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display that will impress you with its colors and contrast. The brightness is a drawback of the model, as you may have a hard time deciphering information when you're outside on a sunny day. The screen size pleases - it allows you to enjoy a variety of content - movies, information sites, games, etc.

The screen has a standard 20:9 aspect ratio, its resolution is low - just 1600 x 720. Compared to the entire area of the front side of the device, the screen occupies 83.2%, which is a low indicator by modern standards.

Performance

Thanks to the Helio A20 chipset, the Infinix Hot 10 Lite will delight you with decent performance. The device comes with 2 or 3 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of internal storage. These specs are enough to comfortably work on the web, watch TV shows and play non-resource intensive games. The storage isn't the largest on the market, but it's enough to have plenty of photos, videos, and miscellaneous files at your disposal. The company has provided a dedicated slot for the microSD memory card that can expand the storage.

In terms of software and interface settings, the phone ships with the Android 10 operating system. Each user can customize the settings and select the features they need the most. There are also Google apps that can seriously make your daily tasks easier.

Cameras

Since Infinix is a company that doesn't aim to create world-class flagship after flagship, the Infinix Hot 10 Lite can't offer you cameras with superior features. The device is equipped with a triple rear camera whose main module is 13-megapixel.

The front camera in turn is an 8-megapixel, wide-angle one, and supports 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second. Its app offers the basic features familiar to the user.

To take quality photos, we recommend using a good light source. Infinix has also provided a triple LED flash for the rear camera and a dual LED flash for the selfie camera.

Autonomous operation

The Infinix Hot 10 Lite offers up to two days of autonomous operation. For this purpose, it is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. Bundled with the smartphone, you get a 10W charger - twice as fast as the usual 5W. However, it does not fall into the fast charging category. To recharge the battery from 0 to 100%, you will need a maximum of 2 hours.

Conclusion

The Infinix Hot 10 Lite is a modern budget phone where you will find a few compromises, but you will get a set of useful modern features. Autonomous operation is one of the main pros of the model, which will be appreciated by anyone who does not like to constantly worry about the battery charge. In it you will not find anything superfluous. Ideal model for people who do not have requirements to play heavy mobile games or use resource-intensive applications.

Pros:

  • Satisfactorily large screen
  • Fast fingerprint scanner
  • Facial recognition
  • Decent sound quality
  • Large battery
  • 10W charging support
  • Allows 2 SIM card operation
  • Memory card slot

Minuses:

  • Low photo quality in difficult shooting conditions
  • No NFC support
  • Screen resolution is low
  • Could be wishing for more from the performance
