Design

This Infinix model has a body made entirely of plastic. Its back panel is shaped with a nice gloss that plays nicely with the light. As it easily accumulates fingerprints on its own, we recommend that you put the smartphone in a case. This will not only preserve its flawless appearance, but also provide protection.

Infinix Smart 6 is available in four colors - purple, blue, green and black. All four colors look fresh and modern.

The fingerprint scanner is located on the back panel and works great.

On the front you will find a screen with thick frames and a front camera positioned in a slot in the shape of a drop. So far, everything sounds standard and time-tested.

Display

Infinix Smart 6 offers a 6.6-inch screen with low resolution and 20: 9 aspect ratio. The maximum brightness of the screen is in the range of 500 nits, which means that you will not have a problem reading information from it if it is sunny outside. The color gamut on the screen is cooler, but this is typical of most Infinix phones.

When using the Infinix Smart 6, you will find that the thick bezels around the screen are a plus rather than a minus.

Productivity

Infinix Smart 6 is based on a budget chipset Unisoc SC9863A, built on a 28-nm processor. Its structure is 8-core and consists of 4 Cortex-A55 (1.6GHz) cores and four other Cortex-A55 (1.2GHz) cores. As a result, this chipset behaves similarly to the well-known MediaTek Helio P22. So you can expect performance at this level.

I must also say that the graphics accelerator is IMG8322 - a fairly common solution. Infinix Smart 6 is available in a single configuration - with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.

The factory operating system is Android 11 Go and comes with the company's XOS v7.6 interface. You should know that Android Go is an edited system designed specifically for weak devices with limited RAM and light versions of popular programs. To its specifics we must point out the limited action of applications in the background - up to 4. That is why Infinix Smart 6 successfully copes with the simultaneous execution of up to 6-7 applications.

Cameras

On the back of the Infinix Smart 6 you will find a dual main camera, whose main module is 8-megapixel. The front camera is 5-megapixel. The quality of the photos can be defined as tolerable. There is poor detail due to the characteristics of the matrix and the lack of enough megapixels.

In the camera application you will find a basic set of shooting modes. You can try to improve the end result with them - whether you take photos or record video. It's worth testing the autofocus.

Autonomous work

Infinix Smart 6 has received, like many other smartphones in this price range, a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. Support for fast charging with a power of 10W is also provided. Although the speed is modest, it still saves time. With this charger you can recharge your smartphone from 0 to 100% in less than 4 hours.

With full charge, you can listen to 87 hours of music without interruption, talk for 31 hours or watch videos almost around the clock.

In the menu of Infinix Smart 6 you will also find three special charging modes. These are Power Boost, Ultra Power Mode and Video Power Engine. When the battery has reached 5%, we recommend that you turn on Ultra Power Mode. It will provide you with an additional 15 hours of battery life. This time is equivalent to up to 90 minutes of talk time.

Useful features

In Infinix Smart 6 you will find the AppSqueeze application, with the help of which the files available in the device are compressed and free up to 15% of the storage.

Conclusion

As a positioning Infinix Smart 6 occupies a worthy place among the models with low price. You have to evaluate its strengths accordingly. Among them are definitely a bright 6.6-inch IPS HD + screen and support for 2 SIM cards. Autonomous work also enjoys a decent result.
