Design

In terms of appearance, the manufacturer has not proposed any significant changes compared to the general design of Nokia smartphones. On the front side of the Nokia 2.3 is located a display with a satisfactorily large diagonal. Around it there is a thin frame in black color. At the bottom of the display, the bezel becomes thicker as that is where its bezel is located. The front camera is positioned at the top. Thanks to the notch, the dimensions of the device are reduced.

We turn around and look at the back side. Nokia 2.3 attracts attention with an interesting texture and color palette. In the center is placed a system of cameras.

Nokia 2.3 is available in several colours: dark grey, gold and green. The device is made with quality and fits nicely in the palm.

Display

Modern smartphones offer increasingly larger displays. Thus, Nokia's developers have also opted for this accent. In the model, we see a 6.2-inch HD+ display. Given the current measures, it is satisfyingly large. The resolution is 1540 x 720 pixels. It is high enough to enjoy games and movies.

Performance

As a representative of the models in the affordable price range, Nokia 2.3 skillfully fights with the competition. At its core lies a MediaTek Helio A22 processor, which boasts not bad performance in synthetic tests. For heavy gaming, however, the Nokia 2.3 is not intended.

Performance is supported by 2 GB of RAM. It is enough to perform the usual tasks in the background. If you run too many applications, browsers and messengers, you may experience a slight performance slowdown.

The internal memory is 32 GB. If you are low on memory, you can increase it using a memory card.

Facial recognition

One of the features that modern smartphone users are looking for is the ability to protect the data contained in their phones. The Finnish manufacturer has not offered a fingerprint scanner, but facial recognition technology is available. It works using the front camera.

Cameras

The camera system in Nokia 2.3 is well chosen for this class of devices. The fashion to offer dual cameras has come to the Nokia family as well. In this model, the user gets a main sensor with a resolution of 12 MP and an auxiliary sensor of 2 MP.

In daylight, you will enjoy photos with rich colors and detail. They are not a pinnacle achievement and there is nothing surprising in that. Still, we're looking at a budget model. In the evening, the situation changes for the worse. With the Nokia 2.3 you can't expect good night shots.

However, the quality of daytime shots exceeds the average in this price class.

The model also offers a front camera for selfies and video calling.

Autonomous operation

Nokia 2.3 is equipped with a 4000 mAh battery. Given the specs, you can count on two days of continuous operation. The dedicated operating system has contributed to the improved autonomous operation.

Nokia has not offered support for fast charging technology. To have 100% charge again, you will need to keep the device plugged in to the mains for 4-5 hours.

Conclusion

Nokia 2.3 is a not bad budget phone that looks good and offers a great battery, quality screen and decent photo capabilities.
