Design

You won't find anything fancy in the design of the Nokia 3.2. Rather practicality. The body is made of glossy plastic. The device feels pleasant in the palm. The craftsmanship is quality. Smooth curves of the rear panel, solid weight and price are another factor predisposing to the choice of this model.

Display

Much of the front panel in the Nokia 3.2 is taken up by a 6.26-inch screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The bezels on the sides are thin, and there's a small teardrop-shaped notch under the front camera on top.

The display resolution is HD+ (1520x720 pixels). The image density of 269 ppi. The smartphone is equipped with a quality IPS matrix. The viewing angles are excellent. The colours are beautifully visible. The brightness reserve is enough to comfortably read from the display even in sunny weather.

Cameras

The engineers have relied in Nokia 3.2 on a single 13 MP model with f/2.2 aperture. No flagship vagaries like a depth sensor or wide-angle optics. No impressive photos can be expected from a device at this price. As the evening falls, the quality of the photos drops slightly. Overall, it remains not bad. Thanks to the fast autofocus there is no blur.

The front camera is 5 MP (f/2.2). Similar to the results of the Nokia 2.2, the colors here are slightly paler than desired.

With the Nokia 3.2 in hand, you can shoot video in Full HD at 30 frames per second. The detail is not high. Street sounds are recorded well.

The camera app contains a minimal set of shooting modes.

Performance

In the Nokia 3.2, we see a Qualcomm 429 processor. It is a power-efficient entry-level chipset implemented on 12nm process technology. Overall, its performance is sufficient for the fast operation of the system. RAM is 2 GB and internal storage is 16 GB. The latter has an option for expansion. The good news is that the user does not have to choose between 2 SIM and a memory card.

This model is also available in 3/32GB memory configuration.

Nokia has not provided an NFC module.

Operating system

Like Nokia's other models, the compact Nokia 3.2 has received the latest version of Android 9. The system is not cluttered with unnecessary programs and will receive updates in due course.

Unlock method

Nokia provides for face unlock for its smartphones. However, the technology is not the fastest in the market.

Autonomous operation

In Nokia 3.2, the manufacturer has relied on a 4000 mAh battery. Performance tests show that the smartphone is capable of two days of active use. This brilliant result is helped by the energy-efficient processor and the low resolution of the display.

Nokia 3.2's battery lasts for 15 hours of continuous video playback at medium brightness. An hour of play consumes about 10% of the charge.

Conclusion

We recommend Nokia 3.2 to users who are not aiming for the highest level of performance. They are looking for a reliable smartphone with a powerful battery, a big and bright screen and a decent camera. The small amount of internal and RAM is offset by the attractively low price of the device.
