Design

The look of the Nokia 5.3 immediately appeals with its contemporary layout. Its dimensions are exemplary, with a body thickness of 8.5mm. The satisfactory dimensions are combined with a low weight - only 185 grams. Nokia 5.3 is comfortable to work with. The user can use just one finger to accomplish the desired tasks.

The housing is made of plastic. Its edges are rounded. The manufacturer has opted for several color solutions - blue, sandy and black. On the rear panel we see a main camera, which includes four modules gathered in a circle. Below this module is the sensor that scans the owner's fingerprint.

Display

Today, almost all smartphones have large screens. This is because users spend much of their time with a device in hand. On Nokia 5.3, you can watch movies, videos and share content with relish. The screen diagonal is 6.55 inches. It is comfortable for gaming, browsing and reading books and documents. The resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels has good enough color rendering. You should know that Nokia 5.3 does not support FullHD.

Performance

The processor incorporated in Nokia 5.3 was created a year earlier. We are talking about the Snapdragon 665. With the basic workload, it will handle without a problem. As for the operating system, it is Android 10. The manufacturer promises regular updates over the next 3 years.

In the age of high technology, a person needs more space on the phone to store various information. HMD Global offers two RAM options - 4 GB or 6 GB. The storage is only 64 GB. In it you will collect a lot of photos, videos, text files and applications, games. Of course, some users will need more space. For this purpose, the manufacturer has provided an additional memory card slot.

Cameras

This parameter plays an important role - especially for people who are fans of beautiful and quality photos taken with a smartphone. For some, this factor is decisive for purchase. What does Nokia 5.3 offer?

The main camera consists of 4 sensors combined in one module. One of them is a 13-megapixel. Next are a 5 MP wide-angle camera and two 2 MP - for macro photos and a sensor for measuring the depth of the frames. An existing night mode and a mode to merge multiple frames into one provide good quality photos.

Nokia 5.3 is capable of shooting 4K quality video. You shouldn't expect much from the front camera. It is an 8-megapixel one.

Autonomous operation

The battery capacity will satisfy every user. It is 4000 mAh. Quite enough for recharging after 2 days of work under moderate load. The manufacturer has provided fast charging technology, but with a non-cosmic power - only 10W.

Conclusion

The smartphone perfectly copes with the basic tasks of the modern user. It is designed for people who like to sit on the Internet - on its screen comfortably watch movies and read books. Of course, you can also play games, but not too complex strategies.

Pros:

  • Affordable price;
  • Availability of Android One;
  • Performance at a decent level.

Minuses:

  • Front camera average quality;
  • Absence of wireless charging technology.
