Today, mobile devices are an everyday necessity. Sometimes we find it difficult to deal with even a small problem without using a call, information on the Internet or sending a message to an acquaintance, hoping they will respond quickly with a solution. Manufacturers have responded to this trend. Thus, in parallel with the launch of flagships on the market, we see many budget models. Their demand is growing, and so is production. Design

The smartphone offers a classic design and harmonious dimensions - 147.6 x 71.4 x 8.7 mm, weighing 155 grams. The comfortable dimensions make it suitable for use by everyone - children and adults. Nokia C1 comfortably lies in the palm, can fit in almost any pocket. In a horizontal position, it will perfectly play the role of a display for viewing favorite files and browsing the Internet. Its weight is super low. It doesn't weigh you down, but it's not too light that you forget about it and drop it.

Visually, the Nokia C1 carries the smooth lines of the rounded corners of the body, typical of this brand. The rear panel is smooth. At the top center we see the main camera and LED flash.

On the market you will find the model in black and red. The body is made of quality plastic. Protection against mechanical damage is absent. Because of this, scratches may appear over time. The use of a case or silicone protector is recommended.

Display

The display size of the Nokia C1 is 5.45 inches. The screen type is IPS LCD. Not a bad solution considering the price. Offers an acceptable picture, eye protection. The resolution is 480 x 960 with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The pixel density per inch is 197. These characteristics ensure comfortable reading, watching videos and photos, comfortable web browsing. Good viewing angles also contribute to this.

Performance

The super-budget smartphone is equipped with a 4-core 1.3 GHz processor. It supports LED flash for both the cameras. Android 9.0 Pie (Go edition) is offered as the operating system. The pure Android was initially designed for use in inexpensive devices with RAM up to 1 GB. The main features are: the ability to use a memory card, accelerated launch of the operating system and installed applications, access to new security features, and an active monitoring system.

You should know that Nokia C1 works with 1 GB of RAM, which may be insufficient for stable operation of the operating system. The internal storage is 16 GB. This is a standard volume for this class of phones. There is an option to expand with microSD up to 64 GB. A separate slot is provided for additional memory.

Nokia C1 is a device designed to cover the basic needs. It offers no luxury or innovation that no one has seen before. Therefore, you should not expect super capabilities from it.

Cameras

The main camera is located on the rear panel, in the center. It is a single, 5 MP, complemented only by an LED flash with no additional sensors. With this unit, you can take relatively good quality photos and videos. The LED flash will create more favorable shooting conditions. The front-facing camera in turn has a classic placement on the front panel, above the display. A separate LED flash is provided, improving brightness and image quality. Since smart capabilities are absent, you won't notice any improvements on the photos. The user gets a photo editor. With its help, one can fix flaws. It is recommended to take pictures in good light. Focusing requires a certain amount of time.

The video shot with this phone will have a resolution of 720 at 30 frames per second.

Autonomous operation

Nokia C1 has a battery with a capacity of 2500 mAh. A fast charging option is provided. The charge discharge depends on the temperature of the device. Given its volume, you should not expect excellent performance. Rather average for this class. With Nokia C1 in hand in passive mode, you can conduct about 6 hours of calls. Internet browsing will drain the battery faster. You'll have up to 4 hours of battery life.

Conclusion

Transferring almost all the parameters and features of Nokia C1, it can be said that it represents a good phone at a low price. It offers a set of basic features that make it suitable for people of any age, however, who are not into mobile photography and heavy gaming. Among its main plus points are a classic design, comfortable dimensions and low weight that allows it to be carried without getting in the way.
