Design

Oppo a15 is clad in a matte plastic body. Available in two colors - black and sky blue. Its back panel plays beautifully with the light, which makes the smartphone look more expensive than it is.

Comfortably light and thin, the Oppo a15 will fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. It weighs only 175 grams and is only 7.9 mm thick. Thanks to this it is a compact and excellent choice for people of all ages.

For the comfortable work with the device contributes its design, which comes down to the application of all hitherto proven practices. The corners of the case are rounded, the volume and power control buttons are on the right, and the SIM card slots are on the left. The exquisite look is complemented by the relatively thin frames around the screen. While the back of the Oppo a15 is made of plastic, the front is covered with glass.

Display

This budget Oppo model comes with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with saturated and bright colors. The image is clear and detailed, although the resolution is low - 1600x720 pixels. The aspect ratio is known - 20:9, and relative to the entire front surface, the display occupies exactly 83% of it. This indicator is good by modern standards.

The brightness of the screen is enough to easily read information from it, even if it is sunny outside.

Camera

The photo capabilities of the Oppo a15 can be judged only by looking at what modules it is equipped with. It has a selfie camera, which is built into the center of the front panel - in a V-shaped slot. It is wide-angle and has a resolution of 8 MP. With it you can take decent pictures.

The main camera is triple. Its main module is a wide-angle 13-megapixel with an aperture of f / 2.2 and PDAF. It is complemented by two 2 MP sensors, each of which performs its task. The first is responsible for macro shots, and the second measures depth to create bokeh shots. You also have an LED flash and a basic set of shooting modes to experiment with.

With the Oppo a15 in hand, you can shoot videos with a resolution of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second.

With a good level of light in the environment, this smartphone will delight you with quality photos, whether you shoot with the front or the back.

Productivity

Each budget model is made with a focus on certain features and the rejection of others. Therefore, when we come to productivity, we notice that it is at the level of this price range. The Oppo a15 has received the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, which consists of 8 cores - four of them are Cortex-A53 clocked at 2.35 GHz, and the other four are Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.8 GHz. The graphics processor is a PowerVR GE8320.

Depending on the modification, the Oppo a15 can have 2GB or 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, respectively. If you think it is not enough, you can easily expand it with a microSDXC card.

The smartphone works with Android 10 operating system and ColorOS 7.2 interface.

Additionally, we must specify that the Oppo a15 supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0. There are two approaches to unlocking the device - a fingerprint scanner or facial recognition. Oppo has not provided support for the NFC chip for contactless payments.

Autonomous work

The capacity of the non-removable battery of Oppo a15 will reach you in one day, even more. It is exactly 4230 mAh. No fast charging technology provided. The power of the charger is 10W. With a heavier operating mode and a constantly bright screen with maximum brightness, you will need to recharge after a few hours.

Conclusion

Oppo a15 is a typical representative of budget phones on the market. It has an attractive vision, a satisfactorily large screen and photo capabilities worthy of its price. Its size makes it suitable for users of different ages. Thanks to the intuitive menu design, it is easy to work with. Plus, there is enough memory to play light games, view photos, surf the Internet and write messages in messengers smoothly and easily.
