Design

On the outside, the Samsung A22 5G catches the eye with a modern triple camera design in the top left corner. The bezel-less screen, side-mounted fingerprint scanner and attractive body colours add to the good overall impression. The rear panel of the smartphone is made of plastic, which is expected given its budget-friendliness. However, this will hardly be appreciated as a minus. Many users are used to this particular material. They define it as more comfortable and pleasant to the touch.

Display

A good first impression of the Samsung A22 5G is helped by the huge display. It has a diagonal of 6.6 inches and FullHD+ resolution, which is immediately apparent in the picture quality. To this we must add good brightness and contrast indicators.
The aspect ratio of the Samsung A22 5G screen is 20:9 and the pixel density per inch is 399. The picture refresh rate pleases.

From the screen of the smartphone without problems you will be able to read information, even if it is sunny outside.

Performance

Samsung A22 5G runs on the basis of an 8-core processor Mediatek Dimensity 700, which consists of 2 clusters of 4 cores each Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55) and a video chip Mali G57MC2. The smartphone comes in several modifications with respect to RAM - 4GB, 6GB or 8GB. The internal storage can be 64GB or 128GB. It can be expanded using a microSD memory card. From what has been said so far, it is clear that the Samsung A22 5G has the power to handle mid-level graphics games. This will definitely please people who love gaming on their phones.

The operating system of the Samsung A22 5G is Android 11. The interface is well designed, easy to use and familiar to followers of the South Korean manufacturer - One UI Core 3.1.

Cameras

If you're looking for a smartphone for daytime photos, we recommend the Samsung A22 5G. It has a triple autofocus rear camera designed specifically for outdoor shooting during daylight hours. The main module is 48-megapixel. It is complemented by 5 MP and 2 MP sensors. The former is a wide-angle and the latter measures the depth of the frame. With this rear camera, the Samsung A22 5G can provide you with quality and detailed photos and videos in good light. As the daylight hours get darker, you'll notice an "intrusion" of noises and blurs.

The front-facing camera on the Samsung A22 5G is a single, 8-megapixel camera and in no way makes you expect feats from it. With it, as with the rear camera, you can shoot videos at 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. The quality of the pictures is good.

Autonomous operation

In contrast to the photographic capabilities, the battery of the Samsung A22 5G impresses. It has a capacity of 5000 mAh. With it, you can enjoy up to two days without recharging without a problem. Add to that the ability to make contactless NFC payments and the new Android 11 operating system, for its price this smartphone is more than a good deal.
The large battery capacity shouldn't worry you. Samsung has provided support for fast charging technology. So in less time than expected, you will have a full charge of the smartphone again.

Conclusion

Samsung A22 5G is a phone with a modern look and a bunch of interesting features that can be at your disposal for a small investment. The smartphone works with 2 SIM cards, has a comfortable shape, small weight - only 203 grams, and impresses with the colors of the housing. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side, which will appeal to anyone who is used to fingering it there.

  • 5G network support
  • Impressively large screen with beautiful colours
  • Convenient design
  • Triple rear camera
  • Excellent autonomous performance
  • Fast charging technology
  • Plenty of RAM
