In the design of the Samsung Galaxy M31 we see a focus on simplicity and laconicity. The body is made of plastic with a glossy finish. The colours are several: black, blue and red. It is recommended to equip the Samsung Galaxy M31 with a case to preserve its flawless appearance for longer.

The dimensions of the smartphone are 159.2 x 75.1 x 8.9 at 191 grams weight. The edges of the case are slightly rounded. Thanks to this, you will be happy to hold the device in your hand.

Display

The screen of the Samsung Galaxy M31 has a diagonal of 6.4 inches, a resolution of 2340 x 1080. The aspect ratio is 19.5:9. The pixel density per inch is decent - 394. The screen is implemented on Super AMOLED technology. The display is beautiful, the black color is characteristically deep, there is a good brightness margin. As for the color rendering, it, as in most Samsung phones, and here you can adjust it in the "Screen Mode" menu. There are two available - saturated and natural colours.

As a consumer, you'll want to know that the Samsung Galaxy M31 offers a night mode, brightness adjustment, and an Always On Display feature.

Performance

At the core of the Samsung Galaxy M31 lies an 8-core Exynos 9611, consisting of 4x2.3 GHz + 4x1.7 GHz. The graphics core is a Mali-G72 MP3. The smartphone is available in 6 GB RAM and 128 GB flash memory modification with an option to expand up to 512 GB with a microSD memory card. If we have to draw a parallel with the Samsung Galaxy M30s, here the RAM is 2 GB more. This will definitely be to the advantage of the Samsung Galaxy M31's performance.

The combination of a mid-range chipset with a not bad stock of RAM guarantee this model a decent performance. It performs beautifully in everyday tasks including mobile gaming.

Cameras

The Galaxy M31 is equipped with a quad camera with flash. The flagship sensor is 64 MP with f/1.8 aperture and works with Quad Pixel technology. Here, 4 pixels are combined into one to produce more light. This brings the actual resolution down to 16 MP. Of course, you can also shoot with all 64 MP. Apart from the main sensor, the Samsung Galaxy M31 has an 8 MP wide-angle sensor with f/2.2, a depth sensor - 5 MP, f/2.2 and a macro sensor - 5 MP, f/2.4.

The selfie camera is graced with a 32-megapixel module and can shoot video up to 4K resolution.

Autonomous operation

The battery capacity is 6000 mAh Samsung Galaxy M31. We can define it as a key trump of this model. It guarantees full autonomous work up to 1.5-2 days. Of course, if you get into more mobile games and use other heavy applications, you will need to recharge earlier. Samsung has provided fast charging technology, and the charger goes in the package.

Conclusion

The Samsung Galaxy M31 is an excellent smartphone with well-rounded capabilities, nice performance, a quality display, and satisfactory autonomy. As a con, we can point out the casing, which will easily leave fingerprints on it if you don't wear a case.
