Design

This Samsung smartphone has visually inherited all the merits of the previous models. It has nicely rounded edges, a plastic body and a glass front. The back has a nice relief that contributes to the pleasant feeling when you hold the device in your palm. The Samsung m62 is available in three colours - blue, green and grey. All three colorways are unobtrusively glossy. The rear panel is set on a camera unit that is located at the top right corner. The fingerprint scanner is positioned on one of the sides. You will easily adapt to its location and responsiveness.

Display

The Samsung m62 will win you over with its beautiful and colorful 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O display and Full HD+ resolution. Compared to the entire front panel area, it occupies 86.7% of it, which is high by today's standards. The pixel density per inch is 393. The aspect ratio of the display is 20:9.

The brightness of the screen is quite sufficient to operate the device comfortably even if you are outside and the weather is sunny.

Processor

To give the Samsung m62 a performance that will guarantee the user at least a few years of up-to-dateness, the company has equipped it with an Exynos 9825 (7 nm) chipset consisting of an 8-core CPU - two Exynos M4s clocked at 2.73 GHz, two Cortex-A75s clocked at 2.40 GHz and four Cortex-A55s clocked at 1.95 GHz. The graphics processor is the Mali-G76 MP12. The Samsung m62 has, depending on the configuration, 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. Additionally, the user can expand the storage with a microSDXC memory card up to 1TB.

Samsung m62 is factory with Android 11 operating system and One UI 3.1 proprietary interface. The latter allows you to effortlessly focus on the content you love to use, in an intuitive way. Plus, you can customize the phone to your liking.

Cameras

With this Samsung model, you can count on quality photos at any time of the day. The rear camera is quad-camera, with the main module being a 64-megapixel, chic-angle, f/1.8 aperture. The complementary modules are an ultra-wide-angle 12 MP module, a 5 MP macro camera and a 5 MP depth-of-frame module, respectively.

The Samsung m62's ultrawide-angle camera, similar to the way we see with our own eyes, sees the world at a 123-degree angle, which helps create super interesting photos. The macro camera allows you to capture details that you want to put in focus. In recent years, the Bokeh effect has become a standard feature. Samsung m62 also has a camera that achieves it.

With both the front and rear cameras of the smartphone, you can capture videos in 4K resolution at 30 frames per second or 1080 pixels. The app has all the familiar filters and features.

Autonomous operation

Samsung m62 has a huge battery with a capacity of 7000 mAh. Given the characteristics of the processor and the optimization of the software, you can count on a pretty good autonomous work. Many experts describe it as "monstrous". The manufacturer has provided support for fast charging technology so that the user can make the most of its capacity.

With 100% battery charge, one can enjoy 145 hours of music listening, i.e. over 6 days and that too without any interruption. If you are a fan of video content, you can enjoy it for up to 33 hours before reaching for the charger.

Surfing the web will discharge the Samsung M62's battery in about twenty-four hours.

Conclusion

The smartphone has been an essential tool for solving various daily tasks for several years. We use it to communicate, travel, pay bills and make purchases, listen to music, use a range of work applications or play games. That's why it's important to opt for a quality model with high performance and good autonomy. On the second metric, the Galaxy M62 will meet and even exceed your expectations. It is an ideal platform for checking off professional and personal commitments. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, check out the Galaxy F62.
