During a special online presentation at CES 2021, the Koreans presented several Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S21 + and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G phones. The latter is the most technically advanced. You will see it in the following lines.

Design

Visually, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G has inherited the features of the previous flagships of the S20 series. We notice similarities with the Note 20. The device is quite large in size and logically heavier than most models on the market. Not every pocket will hold it. Samsung engineers and designers have focused on the typical materials for the body: glass front and rear, which is protected - Gorilla Glass Victus, and the frames are metal. The back panel is nicely matte and it is difficult to see traces of interaction with the device.

The fingerprint scanner is located under the screen glass and is ultrasonic. It works much better than before. The electronic stylus is no longer placed in the body, as in the Note series. Imagination is shown here. The designers have made special cases that have a compartment for S Pen.

The stylus of the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is made of plain matte plastic. It is light and comfortable to work with.

Another reason to buy Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is its impeccably beautiful appearance. The smartphone is available in black and silver. In addition, its housing is protected against water and dust according to the IP68 standard. It will survive without a problem if you immerse it to a depth of 1.5 meters for a maximum of 30 minutes.

Display

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, as a representative of the flagship class is equipped with a quality display. In this case it is Dynamic AMOLED 2X with a diagonal of 6.8 inches and a resolution of 1440 x 3200. It is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with slightly curved edges. Compared to the previous generation, the protective glass is twice as resistant to scratches and cracking due to impact.

The physical screen dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G amount to 71 x 158 mm. The aspect ratio is 20: 9, with a pixel density per inch of 515. The width of the frames around the screen is less than 2 mm on the side and about 3 mm on the top and less than 4 mm on the bottom. In this way, Samsung has almost deprived the smartphone of frames. A refresh rate of 120 Hz is supported for the screen.

A curious point in the design of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is that its front side is made in the form of a glass plate with a mirror-smooth surface. It is super scratch resistant.

Productivity

Samsung offers two versions of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. One is European and operates on the basis of an 8-core single-chip system Exynos 2100, which consists of one core Cortex-X1 clocked at 2.9 GHz, 3 cores Cortex-A78 clocked at 2.80 Hz and 4 cores Cortex- A55 clocked at 2.2 GHz. It is made of 5-nm process technology. In the role of graphics processor we see GPU Mali-G78 (MP14). For the US market, the device is built on Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 in combination with Adreno 660.

The RAM is LPDDR5 and can be 12 or 16 GB, while the internal storage is 128, 256 or 512 GB depending on the version. You can't insert a memory card in the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, but it connects to external devices via the USB Type-C port in USB OTG mode.

Cameras

The beautiful and flawless in terms of performance and picture quality Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G also offers flagship cameras. On its rear panel we see exactly four: main wide-angle, ultra wide-angle and two telephoto lenses with different focal lengths.

The main module is 108 MP with an aperture of f / 1.8. It is complemented by a 12-megapixel sensor, a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor with triple optical zoom and a 10-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor with 10x optical zoom.

The camera interface is wonderfully designed. The user has even more shooting modes. It will be a real pleasure to look at them one by one and find out which ones you will need the most. It is also possible to save photos in RAW format.

With the main camera of Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G you will take exciting quality photos. It is equipped with phase PDAF autofocus with laser assistant and optical image stabilization. By default, you will shoot at 12 MP resolution. Of course, you can also take pictures with 108 MP.

Autonomous work

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. Fast charging, wireless and reversible charging technology is supported. Thanks to the optimization of the systems, you can count on excellent autonomous operation.

Conclusion

If you are looking for an interesting flagship phone to be proud of in the next few years, choose Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G!
