The first thing that impresses us in a smartphone is the design. Looks sell and not only the Chinese company Xiaomi is convinced of this, but all established phone manufacturers.
The upgraded version of Mi Note 10 does not differ in anything from it, talking about looks. This is both good news - for fans of this model, and can also be defined as a minus, as consumers love new things. No matter how small they are!
The colour schemes of the two models mentioned match - teal, white and black. They all offer an interesting optical effect on the rear panel. Thanks to this trick, the Chinese manufacturer has created a really curious-looking device. It looks like a representative of a higher class. However, you won't find any moisture protection with it. In terms of weight and dimensions, the Mi Note 10 Pro does not differ from the standard model.
The dimensions of the smartphone are 157.8 x 74.2 x 9.7 mm. It weighs quite a bit - 208 grams. In other words, it's a big phone.
To make the Mi Note 10 Pro competitive in the market, Xiaomi has opted for a large and impressive curved AMOLED display - with a diagonal of 6.47 inches. 87.8% of the device's front panel has been utilized to the maximum for the benefit of user satisfaction. The resolution is 1080 x 2340 pixels at an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The pixel density is approximately 398 ppi.
Good news is the presence of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass. It protects both the front and the back of the devices from damage. It can even be said that the rear panel almost does not retain traces of interaction with the device. The manufacturer has also provided Always-on Display mode (which many users are already accustomed to and appreciate as useful) and support for the HDR 10 standard.
The Mi Note 10 Pro is based on an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor consisting of two 2.2 GHz Kryo 470 Gold cores and six 1.8 GHz Kryo 470 Silver cores. Graphics are backed by Adreno 618.
Significant differences between the Mi Note 10 Pro and its predecessor are found in the memory configuration: 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage. This combination provides the smartphone with high-speed performance, smooth graphics in games and efficient execution of many tasks simultaneously. Tests show that the model lags behind the desired performance, but against this price the results are not good.
Available in this Xiaomi model is an NFC module. The smartphone also has a 2 SIM card slot and infrared.
Want to keep your personal information away from prying eyes? The Mi Note 10 Pro uses brand new technology. It makes the screen scanner more sensitive. As a result, unlocking your phone is more precise and simple. The advanced technology optimises the recognition process in bright light and low temperatures. Using it with dry fingers is a must. Otherwise, you will have to be patient or repeat the same procedure 2-3 times.
At first glance, the camera specs match the Mi Note 10's one-to-one. The main photosensor is 108-megapixel, there are four additional with wide-angle module, telephoto and macro optics.
However, there is a difference. In the Mi Note 10 Pro, the lens of the main sensor is one lens more. The additional lenses in the lens allow to improve color rendering and eliminate defects. The Chinese company does not specify what the role of the additional lens is, but it should definitely have one. Presumably, it enhances the clarity of photos at the edges of the frame. At least that's what some tests show.
When photographing objects at close range, the system blurs the background a bit more. However, the detail of the photos is at an excellent level. Colours are saturated.
Thanks to the auxiliary cameras, fivefold optical zoom is possible with a large amount of gradation.
With the Mi Note 10 Pro in hand, you can record video at up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second. You'll love the quality of the recordings. The zoom is absent in video capture.
The front camera has a resolution of 32 MP. You will love the pictures it takes. They are highly detailed.
And let's not forget - this Xiaomi model offers a curious night shooting mode. Night mode 2.0 allows you to take excellent photos even during the dark hours of the day. Using Super Pixel 4-in-1 technology and multi-frame composition, the smartphone delivers vivid photos with a maximum resolution of 27 MP. And storing images in RAW format allows you to edit later. Super news for photography enthusiasts.
The battery has a capacity of 5260 mAh to keep the device running without a problem. A full charge provides 1-2 days of operation with active use. The manufacturer has provided fast charging technology - 30 W. With it, you can recharge the device in half an hour up to 57% of the battery, and at an hour and five minutes - up to 100%. This is an excellent indicator to date.
The Mi Note 10 Pro is first and foremost a camera phone. It will undoubtedly attract the attention of users who are interested in taking pictures with a phone. The device has all-round sensors that make it an excellent assistant in dealing with different shooting conditions. With video, things aren't so perfect, but that doesn't cancel out the positives.
Moreover, the Mi Note 10 Pro offers a cute design and a beautiful and bright large screen.
If you're looking for worthy competitors to compare this model to, take a look at the Honor 20 Pro, OnePlus 7T, and Mate 30 Pro.
