Samsung Galaxy A21 Review

In one day, the South Korean smartphone maker unveiled five Galaxy A-series models. Two of the debutants already support 5G - the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71. Also presented was the Galaxy A21 model, which many described as a truly new device, a worthy representative of the ranks of budget models. If you're looking for a device that will serve you well over the next few years, the Galaxy A21 is a hit.

Design

From the first glance you cast at the Galaxy A21, you know it's a typical A-series representative. The device is comfortably sized and offers comfortable one-handed operation. On the back of its body are the four sensors of the main camera. There you will also find the fingerprint scanner. Pleasantly rounded edges contribute to the positive reviews about the model. On the market, the Galaxy A21 is available in black. Its housing is made of plastic, which perfectly corresponds to the price segment to which it belongs.

Display

Galaxy A21 has a large enough screen - 6.5-inch Infinity-O with HD+ resolution (720 x 1600). The pixel density per inch is 270. The display incorporates AMOLED technology, which is widely used in today's as it provides gorgeous color rendering and deep shades of black.

The display is large enough. Photos, videos and games - they will be seen beautifully on it. Creating business documents will be pleasant and comfortable.

Performance

The smartphone is based on an 8-core processor MediaTek Helio P35 with a frequency of 2.3 GHz. With the graphics is loaded PowerVR GE8320. The RAM is 3 GB and the flash memory is 32 GB. The user can use a microSD memory card up to 512 GB. The operating system is Android 10 with OneUI 2.0 upgrade.

Cameras

The Galaxy A21's cameras are in the vein of what modern budget models offer. It has a 13 MP front camera and a main camera consisting of four modules. The main module is 16 MP. It is complemented by an 8 MP wide-angle (f/2.2), a 2 MP sensor responsible for measuring the depth of the scene, and another 2 MP for macro shots.

The main camera is equipped with autofocus. The flash is LED.

Photos with the front camera turn out satisfactorily good. With the Galaxy A21 in hand, you'll be able to shoot videos at a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080, 30 frames per second.

The camera is equipped with digital zoom, front focus, panorama mode, HDR shooting mode and more.

Autonomous operation

The unassuming Galaxy A21 offers an enviable level of autonomy thanks to its large battery. It has a capacity of 4000 mAh. The manufacturer has also provided a 15W fast charging so that you can get back to the tasks you are performing with your smartphone without a minute of unnecessary delay.

Conclusion

This Samsung model has everything it takes to become one of the favorites of consumers who are not looking for flagships. As befits any self-respecting smartphone in 2020, this one has got a quad main camera. Among the pros, we can't help but mention the facial recognition technology, the presence of an NFC module for contactless payments and the USB Type-C port.
