Design

Looking at the Samsung Galaxy F62, you will find that it is in line with the latest market trends. It is equipped with a block of four cameras in the upper left corner of the rear panel. At the same time, the 32-megapixel selfie camera is delicately positioned on the display along with the built-in fingerprint scanner. Thus, visually, the device is very similar to Samsung's flagships.

The device itself is a standard candy bar. The case is made of plastic, which is a classic solution for a budget phone. Users can choose between three colors - black, blue and green.

If you're wondering what you look like in the Samsung Galaxy F62, take a look at the iPhone 12 Pro. They have similarities.

For maximum protection of the screen, the manufacturer has provided Gorilla Glass 3 - not a very up-to-date solution, but worthy of this class. The Touch-ID sensor has been moved to the start button of the device.

Display

Samsung Galaxy F62 is equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a wonderful level of brightness and contrast. The resolution is 2400 x 1800 pixels. It occupies almost 87% of the front panel and has a maximum brightness of 412 nits. The screen refresh rate is 60 Hz. What will surprise many is the lack of a vision-sparing regime.

Productivity

Samsung Galaxy F62 is based on an Exynos 9825 processor in combination with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and a Mali G76MP12 video adapter. This solution provides high performance, which ensures ease of use of heavy applications at maximum graphics settings.

We know that the processor was first used by Samsung in 2019 in the flagship Galaxy Note 10. Then it became the first to work on 7-nm technology. The architecture includes 8 cores - two from Samsung, two Cortex-A75 and two Cortex-A55. The graphics core has 12 cores. Even the most energy consuming 3D games can be played on the Samsung F62.

As for the storage, it is 128 GB and can be expanded if necessary with a memory card. Samsung Galaxy F62 supports 2 SIM cards.

The device comes with Android 11 operating system and One UI 3.1 company interface. The user experience has been improved, thanks to a bunch of interesting adjustments and additional features of the photo editor.

Cameras

On the back of the Samsung F62 you will find a quad camera with a 64-megapixel main module with an aperture of f / 1.8. You also have a 12 MP ultra-wide angle sensor, 5 MP macro camera and 5 MP sensor that measures the depth of the frame.

CMOS is used as the main module, which allows you to take photos with a resolution of 9248 x 6920 pixels. There is no optical stabilization, which is typical for devices in this price range. However, there is a digital zoom and LED flash, which significantly improve the quality of the shots. There is an option to switch to manual mode.

The Samsung Galaxy F62 selfie camera is a single, 32 MP with an aperture of f / 2.2. With it you can shoot Full HD videos.

Autonomous work

Samsung Galaxy F62 is powered by a lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 7000 mAh. It features excellent autonomous operation. Thanks to the support of fast charging technology, the user can count on 100% charge in the shortest possible time.

With such a battery and in a more economical mode of use, the Samsung Galaxy F62 can provide up to two days. The South Korean company has also provided support for reverse charging.

Conclusion

For the mid-range Samsung Galaxy F62 meets all expectations. It has impressive parameters. It is equipped with a flagship processor and a mega-large battery. As a standalone operation it is comparable to a model like the Galaxy M51. Adding to all this and the good capabilities of the cameras, this device fully justifies its price. You can easily take pictures with plenty of detail and bright colors. You have a bokeh effect and a macro photo module.

As a plus we must point out the support of contactless NFC payments and a modern vision. The user can choose between three colors - green, gray and blue.
